Day 5! - What can we do with it?

One of the first things that comes to my mind when I think about an answer to this question is "I will definitely shine again with ICT"! I have not posted much in my blog and wikis lately and I have learned so many new things this week that I do feel the urge to go back to researching and trying things out as Ihttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif used to. I also hope to have people visitinghttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif them! Teach with Internet and Explorando Web 2.0
I have been using IWB for some years now and I have even trained teachers on how to use them, so I guess listening to Pete Sharma himself talking about their uses was a great honor!!!
New term: Curation tool! such as scoop it, Readcube and Google Reader!!!

Day 4 - Almost there!

Today we worked with audio and video. There are SO many tools to learn about!!! I knew about some such as Animoto and Voxopop but there are so many others that I will need more time to explore.
Having only 30 min to create a video was not enough, so I ended up using the tool I knew about. I would like to try a new one at home too.

Day 3 - I keep on Learning!!

Day 2 and a long way to go!!!!

I was not able to join the group as from the first period today, but I managed to take down notes of the main websites they used during the morning. I will definitely explore the mindmap creator soon!!! it looks great!
My classmates have been very helpful providing me with the necessary links to the different websites and I am actually using my Delicious account to keep record of them. I think all the group could profit from creating an account there and may be even follow one another as contacts.
The use of Photofunia was very interesting and I even shared some of my creations with my fiancee!
The best of all is to be able to listen to the different kinds of activities my colleagues can suggest in order to apply each of the tools to our practices.

Let's use technology - Day 1

It was very interesting to meet so many colleagues sharing similar interests. I have been working with technology for some years now and there is always something new to learn!!! I have used by Delicious account to keep record of MANY websites which I did not know about and I guess I will need some time to explore them. It had been some time since I last used Wordle, for example, but this time I used it to illustrate significant words about myself, which may be a simple but interesting way to have teachers using it the first time I try to teach them about it.
